Mohun Bagan SAIL Football Academy is a joint venture of Mohun Bagan AC and the Steel Authority of India Limited . The Academy -one of the best in India was formed on 20th July 2003. In the heart of Durgapur - the steel city of Bengal lies the serene , lush green arena of MBSFA . The academy is located at the Tagore House , Duragpur just opposite to Hotel Ispat .Though there are a number of football academies in India ,MBSFA is a unique one. By evaluating the current system in Europe and other parts of the world , the players brought up at the academy will be trained to face the worlds best . By selling these players to the clubs in India and abroad , the Academy will bolster the future talents of India for days to come . By forming such and academy , Mohun Bagan has ushered a new era in Indian football .
